The Training and Placement Cell is now being headed by an experienced and dedicated retired Army Officer Col.E.A Mani who is responsible for the Special training sessions both in-house and from outside soft skills training agencies for enhancing the students employability, personality and communication skills. A series of career counseling sessions and tests are also being conducted right from the Second year for engineering courses and for second year MBA, to help students to opt for career options based upon their interests, competencies and industrial demands. - Previously worked for 34 years as Army Officer and retired in July 2006, at the rank of Lt Col performing duties as Intelligence Officer, Mechanical Transport Officer, Logistics Officer, Security Officer, Education Officer and Commanding Officer
- Qualified in Advance Management & Work Study (AMWS) course at Defense Institute of Work Study, Mussoorie (UP).
- Qualified in Diploma in Public Administration from Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati.
- Participated & commanded a company in Operation Meghdooth (Siachen Glacier) in J & K Sector in an inhospitable high altitude snowbound terrain with -40 degrees, for a period of 10 months from March to Dec 1985.
