HISTORY OF COLLEGE

KITE is established in the academic year 2007-2008 with the permission of AICTE,New Delhi and Government of A.P. The College is affiliated to J.N.TU.Hyderabad.

The Vasantha Educational Society, Hyderabad, registered under the Societies Registration Act, in furtherance of its objectives to fulfill the long felt educational needs of the state, has started this Institute from the Academic year 2007-08,with an annual intake of 240 students.

KITE is situated in a sprawling campus of 12 acres in Sylvan surroundings. Necessary buildings, faculty, state of the art laboratories, library and other facilities are built not only
to the extent required but also for future expansion of the institute.

Dr. Raghavender, M.Tech., Ph.D, MISTE, MIEEE (USA)
Principal

Dr. Raghavender, obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad and Ph.D from Indian Institute Of Sciences, Bangalore. Earlier he worked as a Principal of various Engineering Colleges and participated in seminars and work shops conducted in, India and abroad. His meticulous planning and sound understanding of administrative issues, made him a successful person.

MANAGEMENT

KITE is promoted by Vasantha Educational Society, which has the following executive body.
Mr. C.L.Rajam Chairman Armed with Bachelor of of Engineering degree from NIT, Warangal. He is the Chairman of Intercontinental Infrastructure Ltd, & Chairman of West Bengal SEW Infrastructure. Mr. D. Krishna Murthy, ( Renowned IIT-JEE instructor )
Secretary & Correspondent

The main source of inspiration behind KITE. He is a Lecturer in Mathematics who is well known in the field of education. He is a master in Mathematics with over two and half decades of rich experience in coaching students for IIT-JEE.
He is the Managing Director of KRISHNA MURTHY IIT ACADEMY.

A well reputed businessman and executive committee member in World Telugu Fedaration (WTF). He is the district chairperson in Lions Club International.

A man of varied interests, he is the Managing Director of Sri Sai HariHara Estates (Pvt.) Ltd., a construction company with an enviable track record. He is associated with several educational institutions and voluntary organizations in the twin-cities. He is an office-bearer of Lions Club. His business acumen coupled with his social commitment and wide contacts will be of immense value to the college.
